GAUSS is now available for Solaris 64-bit machines!
This allows larger matrices.

GAUSS Engine for Solaris 64-bit can be linked with 64-bit
applications.

Discrete Choice (release date: AUGUST 8)

Discrete Choice contains a set of procedures for estimating a variety of
discrete choice models, including:
* Poisson
* Negative binomial
* Multinomial
* Adjacent category and stereotype multinomial
* Ordered logit
* Conditional and nested logit

Discrete Choice has the same functionality and more as Quantal Response;
however, it won't run applications developed with Quantal Response.
Discrete Choice will replace Quantal Response in our Applications Bundle,
but Quantal Response will still be available for purchase for those who
need it.

Requires GAUSS Mathematical & Statistical System (GAUSS) v5.0

Symbolic Tools from Econotron Software

The primary use for Symbolic Tools is to provide for automatic
differentiation; it works with Maximum Likelihood, Constrained Maximum
Likelihood, Optimization, and Nonlinear Equations. It also provides
language extension--all the funtionality of Maple, as well as all the
symbolic arithmetic that Maple offers. Requires GAUSS Mathematical &
Statistical System (GAUSS) v4.0 or GAUSS Engine v4.0 or higher and
Maple 9.
